SOLUNA — More than a language course
SOLUNA responds to current social challenges in South Tyrol, in particular the growing need for sustainable integration of women with a migration background or experience of forced displacement. The project actively supports these women along their individual path to integration.
The project aims to strengthen women within the municipalities where they live through tailored offerings, to foster their independence, and to enable long-term social and economic participation.
SOLUNA is built systematically on three pillars:
LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EMPOWERMENT
The pilot project is planned to run over a period of 10 months. To make attendance easier,
sessions will be held two to three times a week across the 2026/2027 school and kindergarten year.
In parallel, childcare will be provided for children aged 0–3 by a qualified professional, or through a possible partnership with ELKI or a local nursery.
